Has anyone tried Dr. Amen's clinics? He's the guy from LA that has written a lot of brain heath books-he's very into Spect scans.

Dr Amen has been at it for quite some time. Actually, he started in Walnut Creek across the bay from San Francisco.
He sets up clinics near wealthy communities and caters to the wealthy. His concussion expertise is not necessarily top of the line. He is more focused on human potential, brain performance, etc. If you chose to try his protocols, plan on a big bill that insurance does not cover. It may help or it may be a complete waste of money. I think it can cost about $10,000 for full diagnostics and treatment.

I had checked the reviews here in the Bay Area (CA), and he had pretty bad reviews.

I contacted his clinic back in 1996, post-my-first closed-head injury/TBI, when I was still living Out West.
All I can say is "Insurance is not accepted" ... and "Tres cher!!" .... $$$$, mon amis!
