Hi!
I am flyng to San Franscico with my host family tomorrow for one week. I am looking forward to that but I am also really afraid. In the last weeks I havemade a slight recovery. Little tiny but at least it's smt. We will do a lot of things in SF and my hosts told me that we'll hike and walk a lot. I am so afraid that this will set me back for weeks and that I have to wait several months to recover from that. Has anyone experience with that?

Hi Loi,
Yes I did a long haul holiday last November, 5 months into pcs,
I spoke with my Dr. He said go off relax and enjoy. Well the holiday
Was 2 weeks cruise. We flew from Uk to Dubai picked up ship
Then sailed down to India, Malasia and Singapore . We then
Flew back home. Before the holiday I was getting like you really
Stressed, but actually once on the holiday I just went with the flow.and didn't do anything that would start my symptoms
Upon return it took me a good week to recover what with jet lag,
And my anxiety came back but only for a few days. Looking back
It did me good to break the routine.
Try not to worry about it but look forward to the things you will
Be able to do, And dont be afraid to say no.
Hope you have a lovely time. Let me know.
Cx

Symptoms: Occipital Neuralgia.

Currently going through Paxil withdrawals, and psych has me on L-Theanine, Benadryl for zaps, and Lemon Balm. It has eased it by a bit, so I am continuing the treatment till 1 month from now.

Was experiencing:
Migraines, Headaches, Nausea and Vomiting, Panic Attacks and Anxiety, Depression, Major Insomnia, Brain Fog, Tinnitus, Lethargy, Loss of appetite, Major Heart Palpitations, Occipital Neuralgia has eased a bit.

Vitamins and Medicines: , L-Theanine, Omega 3 Super DHA 900mg, Stress B-Complex Extra Strength, Potassium Gluconate 1000mg, Magnesium Malate 1250mg, Vitamin D3 2000 IU, Methylcobalamin B-12 5000 mcg, Vitamin C 500mg, Lemon Balm.

Things that helped me: My Vitamin Regimen, Medication, Earplugs (Love these!), Nature Sounds, Hydrotherapy, Neck Pillow with Heat, Heating Pads, Resting, Being Outside!

Take good ear plugs/ear protection. Get as much quiet as you can between activities. Spending a few minutes with your eyes closed and ears plugged can go a long way to help you endure. Use ear plugs when you are out in the city. Remember that you need to prevent or limit over-stimulation pro-actively. Reacting to over-stimulation by putting in the ear plugs is too late.

Be disciplined with good preventative practices and you will be fine.

Have fun. And, say Hi to Howard Street if you see it. LOL

My best to you.
