Thank you for the kind words PoetryMom, I greatly appreciate them.
I ended up not getting any shot because jaw M.D. said it would be a waste and my jaw would continue doing same thing. So I got a temp night equalizer that I wore last night and already feel relief. I am also on a soft food diet. the soft food diet will be long term the M.D. told me at least 4month's.I guess I need to figure another work around on food.Any suggestions would be great!I do not eat dairy, soy, eggs, MSG, artificial coloring, and limit sugar. ![]()

Hiya,
I'm wondering how the TMJD treatment went? I ask because a series of ear infections has led my primary care doctor to conclude I have Eustacian Tube Dysfunction and possible TMJD. How did you pick your specialist for TMJD? She suggested I go to the dentist to get a thorough evaluation. It is just one diagnosis after another, isn't it? I am hoping you are doing well-one day at a time is my new mantra. best,

Well I did not get any treatment after all except the acupuncture in jaw amongst the other places. With having to wait so long i am getting arthritis in my left TMJ
![]() If I were you I would get a thorough exam and then get a second opinion from the TMJ Specialist. I picked mine out of pain lol looked up and did research for best TMJ specialist in my area. Yes the never ending diagnosis....I had to get everything diagnosis and calmed down with head, neck, jaw, and back injuries to move onto mental illnesses, cognitive impairments, and now food sensitivity and food allergies!I am very close to vegan and no gluten. I dislike to talk about my past but I went from an anxiety diagnosis to now about 10 diagnosis and mostly mental illnesses now.I was neglected by M.D.s so I did not get proper care from the beginning of concussion so I have made a total 180 in past and present life. Yes one day at a time that's all we can do!Hope it all works out for you and a speedy recovery ![]() Quote:
