Default prism glasses

I see a lot of you saying you were prescribed prism glasses to wear. Will you have to wear them forever? Just for my own curiosity, I was not, it was not even mentioned for me. That is why I am asking. We used hand held prisms as part of my therapy that changed in value of magnification.

I saw an ophthalmologist and then was later told they do not believe in vision therapy and such. I was very surprised to find that my own eye doctors office had a doctor that diagnosed binocular disorders. Who would have guessed.
