Default Vision Issues

I have Post Traumatic Vision Syndrome, you can google it and see if any of the symptoms seem familar. The Vision issue is due to the shearing effect on the brain during a head injury. I also have visual mid-line shift syndrome, this is where my perception of where the middle of my face has shifted, which screws up your vestibular and give you a lot of balance issues. I have Convergence Insufficieny which gives me eye strain, headaches and blurred vision.

I am just awaiting on prism glasses, I am getting a reading pair and a pair of sunglasses, poloarized and with prisms. The glasses are to compensate for my leftward visual midline shift it is suppose to help with ambulation, gait and sensory integration. I am also going to start vision therapy. Some people have found this life changing. I am hoping this is going to work for me.

I tried the glasses on at the neuroopthomologist and I was amazed how much better I could walk. I never realized how badly I was off balance.

Good Luck
