Anyone tried this? Thinking of asking my doctor for it to counter weight gain caused by Lyrica.
Cymbalta and Lyrica have worked wonderfully on my neuropathic pain. Big downside is the 20lbs I have put on since PCS and meds. Have tried to come off Cymbalta/Lyrica combo 4 times now but am very reluctant to. Each time I try earache, tinnitus, cheek ache, toothache and headache returns. Hoping that if I add Wellbutrin in it will counteract weight gaining effects of Lyrica.

Experienced dizzyness, light and noise sensitivity, hypercusis, fatigue, insomnia, migraines, facial pain, problems concentrating, irritability, sensory overload, exercise intolerance. Symptoms mostly resolved, working full time and I am now mostly better. I wake 6am daily since my injury. Was experiencing daily Neuralgia which was controlled with Cymbalta 30mg, Lyrica 200mg daily. Now only on 30mg Cymbalta. |

The quick research I just did suggests Wellbutrin can cause weight gain OR weight loss. Sounds like a crap shoot.

Must be very quick research!
From what I have read it is prescribed with Lyrica in order to counteract its side effects. It also has pain killing qualities so I am thinking of replacing Cymbalta with it.

I just goggled Wellbrutin and weight gain / loss. It may have a more specific interaction with Lyrica that I did not find. I looked at the respected web sites, not the blogs and such. Under side effects, it often said.. Weight loss / weight gain together.
Often, a good source of information will be your pharmacist.

For me it increased anxiety... if that is one of your PCS issues, I would not look any further into it
