This might be a quite personal subject, but I am really curious as to how you guys deal with this subject after a concussion..
I find that sexual activity of any form, by myself or with my partner sets of my symptoms really bad. Even if we take it really really slow I instantly get nauseaus afterwards and it stays with me for a few days. Maybe it is the rise in blood pressure or something that is too much for my brain to handle? Is anyone having the same issues as me and how are you handling it? I have a hard time knowing when I am ready for anything more challening than my everyday slow walks, it seems like everytime I think I should try something more, another relapse happens. It has been two months since my latest concussion now. |

I wonder if you are having a hormonal imbalance ? What symptoms do you manifest after sex ?

Mostly I get very nauseaus and I get a very strong pulsating feeling in my head for a short while after. It is the same kind of nauseausness I get when my concussion symptoms acts up, instantley nauseaus after activity with worsening while reading or computer using. But I also get an intense hungover feeling after sex, which must be due to hormones.. |

You are right, patience is the most important thing in this situation! I will keep reminding myself of that! Thank you I just realised that when I get the worst symptoms is after I orgasm quickly, which means my blood pressure spikes quickly, and that is probably too much for my brain to handle at this point in my recovery, so no more sex for a couple of months I guess hehe! |
