Default Aceytl L-Carnitine: Any Bad Effects?

I started aceytl l-carnitine (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) today, and WOW - I am already feeling the effects. Could just be a coincidence, but I feel incredibly alert and energized mentally. In fact, I'm almost TOO alert, and I'm worried that I'll overdo things because I feel so great. I still have some aches and pains, but my mind feels very sharp.

Assuming this keeps up, are there any bad side effects that you guys have experienced? I feel almost like I'm on Adderall or something (I might have spelled that wrong, too). I'm worried that I'll crash and end up feeling worse, if that makes sense.

Also, should I maybe be taking this super early in the day? I have a feeling that a late afternoon dose might not have been the best idea.
