I guess more along the lines of warrior pose, plank, mountain pose and other light stretches. I've been in Savasana (flat on my back) for most of the last few days anyway. I definitely can't see doing any shoulder stands or plow poses for quite awhile.
meditation has been incredibly helpful for me throughout this process. since i could do little else for a couple months, i spent many hours a day listening to guided meditation. i like tara brach and pascal auclair the best--not too complex, compassionate. lots available on darmaseed.org

Jack Daniels, Johnny Walker and meds........ Always a good combination. And you wonder why you have strange symptoms.

that was just another bad attempt at humor. I had 2 beers one day after my injury and I was dizzy as heck. haven't drank since. the number one thing I recommend to people with fresh concussions is to not drink at all! but I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it a little but not worth the price.

I am too dependent on medication. always have been a prescription pill popper. that was my downfall. cholesterol meds, blood pressure meds, sleep meds, anxiety meds, depression meds, ibs meds, pain meds...too many meds.

I feel mentally better after I take a pill. that's a terrible reaction. I think it comes from my father being on so many pills for a real need and my mother started jamming pills in my throat at an early age. but old enough to take responsibility now.

Cholesterol meds are not good for the brain.

Ugh, Crown Royal is what helped me into this situation in the first place. I haven't touched a drop of alcohol since.

Gotcha. It was a bit of a wake up call for me anyway, I was over doing it a bit since my kiddo was off for vacation. I guess if I have to find a bright side, it is that I am getting my system detoxified.
