Default Double head bump

Last Saturday I had some friends over and we drank too much. As embarrassing as this is, I was stumbling my way over to the patio door to go into the house and face planted on the concrete before I got there. I tried to get up then before I could do so I fell backwards and hit the back of my head.

Since then I'm still experiencing dizziness (mostly if I lean forward.) After doing some reading I've been laying down and resting (without TV or other external stimulation) trying to recover. I work from home, so I can currently do a very minimal amount of work and rest most of the day. I have also avoided any alcohol since this happened.

I just now called my GP and was told they don't have equipment to scan and I would have to go to the emergency room to get this checked out.

This happened Saturday night and it is now Tuesday - and on Friday I am supposed to drive about 200 miles to pick up my kiddo from her summer vacation.

Any feedback is appreciated.
