We've talked about CBD oil in the main forum. Canabidiol oil can be refined from commercial hemp. Here is a company that sells it. https://www.hemplifetoday.com/lp/choose-quantity/
It is also available on Amazon.

Yes good suggestion Lara. I have that book - some inspiring stuff in there!
Anyhow, apologies if someone has posted on this before but I can thoroughly recommend listening sessions to music that ideally gives you goose bumps! It really feels like it does me a world of good... Obviously only for those that can handle music cognitively etc. and clearly one must take precautions re volume, avoiding in ear earphones and sticking to (lighter) classical music in the main, particularly in the beginning of course... Happy to recommend/post a playlist of inspiring classical music if anyone is interested ![]() A lot of stuff online on this but here are some more relevant links: http://www.brainline.org/content/201...red-brain.html http://braininjury.blogs.com/brainin...in-injury.html http://www.alzheimers.net/2014-07-21...ntia-patients/ |

For some of us, in ear or over the ear ear phones are best. They reduce the ambient sounds so the brain has less work load filtering the ambient sounds. Room speakers often have too much echo and can be stressful, vs restful.

fair enough Mark and deffo over ears i'd recommend too - re inears, though, speaking from my own experience i'd say beware as my brain simply could not handle that amount of stimulation for about a couple of months post injury - made my tinnitus worse too in an odd way, ie not through ringing but other noises started featuring...

Interesting article I cam across today. Linking chronic inflammation to a number of brain diseases including TBI and its symptoms. I thought it was a good read. . . maybe they're even on to something
