Default Pms

Just to make the guys on the board blush....ladies, have you noticed post-concussion that PMS is way stronger? i never even noticed it before. now it triggers deeper depression, more crying, etc. but i guess i have fewer distractions and more problems to ruminate on.

this too shall pass, right?

April 11, 2014 Flipped in class 2 white water while kayaking, hit my forehead (was wearing a helmet). Lots of symptoms to begin with. Those remaining are fatigue, brain freezes/overstimulation, headaches, sensitivity to light and sound. Insomnia is getting better but still an issue, and appetite is ba-ack! Depression and anxiety are largely under control thanks to Lexapro, exercise, and a very distant light at the end of the tunnel.

Drugs: Lexapro, occasional 2-5mgs ambien. Off amatryptaline. Taking about 453 supplements.

Just started vision therapy, waiting on some blue-tinted prism glasses.

Yes, I would agree.
There was a strong feeling of relief/less tension when it was over.

Maybe not PMS but you can go through male menopause. You may have to put up with someone else's PMS. That can be bad enough.

I think you will be proven right on both counts in the future!

Oh yeah! It sucks the life out of me, and I was never bothered by it before. It makes me so tired and emotional! My partner describes me as a zombie during this time and is oh so relieved when the time of the month passes.
