Help Which tests to order for head injury?

Hi, I'm about to see my chronic pain doctor on wednesday and I would like for him to order some tests for me. I only can see him once a year (because he has such a long wait list) and so I don't want to miss out on anything this time.

I'm wondering which tests to order for someone like me with many symptoms and a previous head injury as a child?

Head MRI? Head CT scan?

My symptoms are many, as listed on my previous thread :
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread208565.html

I have been diagnosed with chronic Lyme, atlas subluxation, methylation issues, and I am going to check if I have a spheno-basilar joint dysfunction.

I am wondering if this is causing all my symptoms or if there is anything more.

Also I am planning to go to the USA, maybe end of this year and do some NUCCA adjustments since they are more experienced than the ones here in Toronto, Canada. Would the neuro doctors in the USA be more helpful and if so, who are the top doctors in this area?

I don't think a head CT Scan or head MRI is of any value. It does not appear you have any symptoms that indicate either.

Maybe a comprehensive Neuro Psych Assessment would be helpful. It could identify any neurological dysfunctions you may have.

Keep in mind that NUCCA adjustments take weeks of treatment to see any changes.

Thank you, I will look into Neuro Psych Assessment.

Can I ask which symptoms should require a CT scan or head MRI?

With the NUCCA adjustments I noticed huge improvement right away! Unfortunately I had to stop as after the third adjustment my jaw is now much worse after he pushed way too hard, so now I am looking for a more experienced NUCCA doctor in the states as we don't have any locally here in Toronto.
