I am so happy to find this kind of support! I had a bad fall while helping my Mom, and whiplashed bad. My spinal cord is compromised at the base of my brain, and the dr,s dn't check me for concussion at the er, I took all the drugs they gave me for the excruciating pain, which is not good for concussion. My world turned upside down....I had to quit my job, which was pca work, Mom was my client. She had cancer. I filed work comp in hopes of getting help with medical costs...they denied me, and now I have an attorney. I Don't even remember going in to sign papers with the attorney, and work comp still has not helped me. I don't get it. I had amnesia after this fall, and was too embarrassed to tell anybody. I isolated in my room with no lights or tv. I spent most days and nights in the bathtub with a neck brace on. This was the best pain relief I could find. I have been taking lots of magnesium and b complex vitamins to try and ward off nerve damage, but my cns is really messed up. I have multiple pcs symptoms, and life has been really hard.
