I need to do this, but, having spent years litigating my mva, I'm just not ready for this fight. Thankfully, we can survive on my husband's income.

While I haven't done this myself, I have friends who have. You won't want to hear this, but most of them had to hire lawyers.

The system is designed to deny as many applications as possible. Being turned down on your first attempt is pretty much guaranteed. They just hope that most people will give up and not appeal. Yes, sick, I know.

Before you start being robbed by some lawyer, contact your MP's office. Some of them are quite helpful in these matters. Just knowing one of their political masters is interested, can help get a faster, affirmative response.

Best of luck.
