I suffered a 2nd concussion a few weeks ago, so im not in the post concussion period. Since 2-3 weeks i experience severe sleeping disorders especially due to twitching while falling asleep or while dreaming. I know its a common symptom and i try to think positive.
The only question i have is, whether these head twitches(sometimes slight, sometimes more severe) have another negative effect on the brain, like influencing the healing process? Especially, are twitches sufficient to slap the brain against the cranial bone, or is it enough protected by the liqour? Any time it occurs it scares me extremely and i start to feel a bit dizzy for a while, but no real headache. My mind got crazy, by the thought, that i should really not happen, but i am unable to avoid it. |

Griffin,
I can experience the same thing and it is very disconcerting and difficult to ignore. It is not an every night occurrence but frequent. I usually end up getting up for awhile and reading and praying till I can nod off without that happening. There is another post with the same question today. Bud |
