Hey
I saw another thread where a guy wrote that he felt worse after taking a shower, which made me think, I actually feel alot better immediately after I shower. I feel more alive, my focus comes back and the dizziness disappears for a while. But after around 1-2 hours it comes back to the same form as always. Any idea how this could be? I'm thinking it might be the water hitting my upper neck and increasing blood flow to the brain, but I'm not sure. |

I think you are right about the blood flow to the brain, especially in such a low stress environment. There may also be some dopamine release which is also good for the brain.

As I responded in the aforementioned post, I too benefit from taking showers. I notice that period of relief during and afterwords.
I'm pretty sure the heat increases blood flow which in turn promotes healing. I agree that part of it has to do with endorphin release. I'm sure you feel better from this and after the two hours you are more or less back to baseline All in all this is one part of my life I'm thankful to still have and I usually take two showers a day. |

Same for me with the shower. It really relaxes my head and settles the anxiety.

Same happens for me. Especially if it's a warm shower. I always thought maybe it's because it relaxes my neck muscles or something.
