My friend hit his head on a car and it left a cut and a bump. He did it on a Monday night now its Wednesday and he thinks he might have a concussion but doesn't have any extra money or insurance to go to a doctor. But he threw up Tuesday and says he has some headaches. I told him to get lots of rest and to not be taking anything but Tylenol cause i know that ibuprofen Advil and Bayer can thin out the blood. but is there anything else he should be doing?

Welcome to NeuroTalk. It sounds like he may have a concussion. It sounds like he is already doing all he can. he should be limiting activity and stimulation, loud music, etc. He should avoid alcohol and caffeine. If his headache get intense or he struggles to speak or loses his motor control or balance, he should be taken to the Emergency Room right away (A&E) |
