Default remeron anyone?
anyone try remeron (Mirtazapine) for anxiety and/or sleep issues? how did it go?

The online information does not suggest it is commonly used for anxiety.

IBR,

I know of a couple who have used it...it made them sleepy which I guess is what makes it better than some other meds for anxiety.

Bud, do you know their experiences with use? How were the side effects and what dosage they were on?

Someone on here was prescribed it (RAllen82) and found it very helpful. It's an NaSSA so works similar to an SSRI in some respects but on a wider range of receptors. It does make you very sleepy at first but that will eventually lessen. If you are having anxiety or depression, both common with PCS, it may be worth giving it a try to balance your brain. Depression can be very insidious some people are not always aware they are depressed.

Symptoms overcome: Nausea, head pressure, debilitating fatigue, jelly legs, raised pulse rate, night sweats, restlessness, depersonalisation, anxiety, neck ache, depression.
Symptoms left: Disturbed sleep, some residual tinnitus.
