Before PCS I was a sporty person, every free minute I was doing something.

During PCS the only thing that seemed to not cause any Pain was eating
So thats what I did.

Now it is so hard for me to stay away from chocolate or other sweets.

Hope we find a way to loose all that weight again, I am not comfortable with it.
Wow sounds just like me! I never loved sweets before my injury, now I eat them without even thinking.

I just want to be comfortable again, and not disgusted when I see myself in the mirror. There is still a part of me that forgets about my injury and thinks I am that old me, until I see myself in the mirror. It is so depressing.

KOM,

Do the motions of weight lifting but without weights or use soup cans. The Internet is full of good exercise info.

It took 1.5 years for me to get past soup cans and having setbacks from a gentle walk.

I am much more active now...I need a day or two off after 3 days at the gym but I will take that compared to where I was last year!
