Default My storyboards

Hello group. I introduced myself yesterday, but that post has been lost in a forum quagmire. I'll try again to share my story. I have sustained six concussions, the last three being the worst. Number four resulted in short LOC and pretty bad whiplash. Five was a car accident. Rear-ended. Another concussion, more whiplash. That was it for me.

Received care from a top notch facility specializing in this kind of thing. Symptoms include chronic migraines, vision issues, dizziness/vertigo, problems walking especially downhill. Bothered by lights, sound, quick movements, bright colors. I can drive for very short distances, but get fatigued. I could go on.

I'm a 52 year old professional who lost his job a year ago, who is very dependent on spouse for many things. Am currently taking triptans, muscle relaxant, lamictal, two different antidepressants. My current condition makes it impossible to hold a job. I'm wading through the workers comp/disability swamp and hoping to retire a little early.

I've had some very dark days and admit that I have contemplated "it". I'm holding out hope that something is going to reduce these symptoms. For those who are counting, concussion six resulted from a fall while recovering from concussion five. My advice is to take care of your brain. It's the only one you have. Thanks for listening.
