I was just wondering if anyone has had any success with butterbur extract as a supplement for fighting post concussive headaches. My doctor suggested it to me and I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions about a specific type or brand of butterbur that has worked for them. Also, I am seeing that it often is taken in some sort of combination with feverfew which I don't know much about. If anyone has any suggestions about feverfew that would also be helpful. Any information is much appreciated. Thanks!

I found this comprehensive article about some clinical studies. Read the bottom 4 paragraphs. There are a number of brands that sell the Petadolex extract. Just google Petadolex
Have you be checked to see if you have muscle spasming from your neck to behind your ears ? This is a common cause of headaches. Sleep quality also impacts headaches. I have chronic headaches for about 6 months after 2 different concussions. I used acetaminophen with aspirin for the worst and ibuprofen for the less painful.
