I was reading something online about not pushing on the head too hard [a person would do this in order to relieve headaches] otherwise the bones would splinter. Which is the reason I haven't. Is that true? Or does it just depend on each individual person?

anne12,
The skull is amazingly strong. Unless you have very severe osteoporosis, your bones would be very strong. But, pressing on your head does not sound like a good headache treatment. I just use ibuprofen or a Tylenol/aspirin mix.
