Default Concussion?

Hi. I’ve had PCS for 4 years now. Usually when I keep my stress down I don’t even notice I have it anymore. Yesterday I was sitting down on the floor and somehow lost my balance when I sneezed and tapped my head on the floor. I didn’t even know if I hit my head at first . I kind of slowly went down and my body twisted and my head tapped the floor. I still have poor balance issues. Can’t you relive feelings from your head injury that caused the pcs from minor bumps and injuries? The only symptom I was scared about was being kind of sleepy but i attributed that to poor sleep the night before yesterday.

Wow, It sure has been a while. It sounds like you have a handle on moderating your PCS. I have always said, reducing stress is key to getting on with life.

I applaud you for your discipline.

Yes, the mind can replay prior symptoms even when there is no physiological justification for the symptoms.

Get a good nights sleep. Keep your stress down. I bet you will be just fine.
