I’m a 20 year old male with post concussion syndrome and anxiety from a lifetime of sports and being a reckless crazy child
Kinda wanna know what’s considered a setback means to you? I see the word a lot but never really know what it means. Yesterday I tripped on a wire while directing a photoshoot and I tripped forward and reflexively did a little hop on one foot to catch my balance. My head got shaken up a good bit and today I feel quite rotten. Is this an example of setback or new injury? How do you differentiate between the two? What causes setbacks for you and how do you make yourself feel better? What’s your protocol when something causes symptoms? |

BenW looks for symptoms after any head movement event. He is also anxious about suffering a new injury from the most benign movement. If his sleep suffers from anxiety over an event like this, of course he will feel lousy the next day.

I wouldn’t classify what happened tripping and hopping from getting my foot caught in the wire as benign but thank you very much for the response
