Lightbulb Brain Crane Flock:TBI Awareness

Posting this for Patrick aka Highlander, who is a source of encouragement and help to so many with TBI

Quote:

Hello everyone!

I am really excited about this!

Imagine a flock of origami cranes, one for every brain injured person!

Full details and instructions here:
www.BrainInjuryChaplain.com

We need your crane by March 1 to kick this off!
To kick off the Brain Crane Flock, we want to get your crane to the BIA for March 2008 Brain Injury Awareness month, for use in various press events. If at all possible, please mail your crane by March 1 so we have a wonderful flock to start the wings flapping!

Please forward this to any person, group, state level BIA, support group, and media you know! Help us spread the word and get as much publicity for brain injury as possible! If you have any questions, please email me at lamontglen@mac.com. Thank you!

A big thank you to Susan Conners, CEO of the Brain Injury Association of America and Paul Price, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Colorado for their enthusiastic support of this feather brained idea! And an even bigger thank you to all of you for helping make it happen!

Blessings,
Patrick

It's all good (but, is it the Best Good?)

Let's make Brain Cranes for Valentines!
This week lets each make and mail a brain crane to the BIA as a valentine to ourselves and/or our caregiver! One of the physical support group let me know they would do the brain cranes as an activity and I though "Why not us, even though we aren't physically together?"

Details are here (including directions for how to fold them!):
BrainInjuryChaplain.com
(Please copy and paste it in)

The Brain Crane Campaign is going wonderfully well! The BIA national office is already receiving cranes. Let's send them a whole flock ourselves.

Blessings,
Patrick

Brain Crane Update:

As March, Brain Injury Awareness Month, kicks off, we have a growing flock of 200 cranes who've flown in from all over the country -- with more on the way! See www . Brain Injury Chaplain . com to learn how to add yours to the flock!

Blessings,
Patrick
