Default Hello my friends

I'm poking my head back in the forum to say hi. I hope that this post finds everyone well.

Not too long after hitting my head again, I turned inward and pretty much avoided any sort of interaction with anyone except my husband. I was in a very dark place for a while, but am happy to say that (for now, and hopefully forever) I'm feeling back to my old chipper self.

I think I was burying my head in the sand for way too long and then came to a point where I couldn't ignore this major change in my life any longer.

I've had a good couple of 'brain' weeks and am hoping that I don't revert again. It's been so wonderful to be able to pull the thoughts and ideas out of my head almost as quickly as before I hit my head. I am afraid to hope that this is permanent, because if I do revert- I'll be devastated.

Funny to note, the second head injury had one good side affect. I immediately quit grinding my teeth and clenching my jaw. You may remember that I was having a problem with this 24/7 since the first head injury. It's almost like hitting my head again made that part of my brain 'right'.

I'll try to be more active and helpful here again, now that I'm out of that dark hole. I hope I didn't worry anybody too much.

Hugs,
Lori
