Hey!
Soon 1 year into recovery from numerous concussions. My biggest problem except for the fatigue is the headaches which is what grows and grows as long as I push myself. What is normal in many cased of concussions is also neck/muscular problems of some reason. This to me feels like it interacts with the "brain-headache". Sometimes I feel like its JUST the muscular tensions that cause the headaches. But its when I get overworked the tensions come. I have a really hard time understading what the headache really comes from. If its from the tensions it would make me a little bit more relaxed knowing. Im starting acupuncture soon, hopefully it gives some results. Anyone have experience of working with the tensions to make the whole picture a little bit better? Emil from Sweden |

hi Emil
good luck with the acupuncture, the head and neck pain defiantly go together many years ago I put my neck out carrying 6 meter of 150 mm pipe, I had traction for a trapped nerve but was left with a tight muscle in my neck my doc tried drugs but that did not work so he, tried acupuncture and after 2 treatments it was fine I don,t know if it the same for you but but I cannot tell if it the neck pain causing the head pain or vicer verser my head ache develops into migraine type if I do to much of anything ![]()

Hi Emil,
My headaches occur from stress, neck and muscle injuries, and my TBI. A migraine can result from any or all of them at one time. If you have multiple concussions you've had to jerk your muscles in your neck. Have you been checked by a nuerologist? What does he or she say? Although I have never had it, I feel sure you will get very positive results with the acupuncture. Please let us know how things go and I hope you feel better very soon. Best, Silent2 Quote:
