tommy,
I doubt the Zanax helps the PCS directly. It reduces your anxiety which reduces your PCS symptoms that are made worse by your anxiety. Most good PCS specialists will tell you that anxiety will make your PCS symptoms worse. The chemical imbalances in the brain caused by anxiety make it much more difficult for the brain to do whatever healing it can. When one with PCS learns how to accept their PCS symptoms and learns how to accommodate them with lifestyle changes and work-arounds, the anxiety is lessened and the brain gets a chance to try to heal.
