Default Exploding Head Syndrome

In the past, people have wondered about this syndrome connected to PCS. It is that episode where a loud bang or clang is heard during transition between sleep states. Little is known about it but here are two informative articles.

I first saw the same article except on a different web site. That web site is a pain to read due to the pop-ups, pop-unders and other annoying ads. I did not want to link to such an objectionable site so I found the links I posted. Your link is a clean site.
