Unhappy Trileptal woes?

My neurologist started me on Trileptal last week. He's calling my problem "atypical facial pain." Now I'm having nausea (even lost my breakfast) and dizziness....In your experience, do these side effects go away soon? I do have to say my face isn't hurting right now, so I don't want to give it up or go on Tegretol.
