What has your neurologist said?

She said that I had an abnormal eeg and wanted me on Keppra. She asked if I have had a head injury and said no. She said she didnt think it was trigeminal neuralgia because I had not pain and wanted me to get tested for an autoimmune disease. The test came back negative for any autoimmune disease.

I would suggest seeking a second opinion. Of course my opinion is based on just researching for myself and looking at what others have had experienced. TN pain can be very weird and abnormal but like other disorders can only be diagnosed by ruling out others basically. Obviously your having an uncomfortable pain so something has to be causing it. I am not a TN expert but what you describe I have read some atypical TN patients describe that. Don't give up until you get an answer and trust me it could take time, but keep searching!
