what is a good coq10 product? i took this one, but i read that it needs bioperine or something like it, to become more bioavailable. Now, I read that on the back of a jarrow formulas coq10 product that i bought once. I was using this one, but they discontinued it, it was chewable so that is why I bought it, since it seemed convenient.
is this one better?

CoQ-10 is not well absorbed. Typically it either has Bioperine added (like Doctor's Best), or an oil of some type.
Here is another choice of a quality type: http://www.epic4health.com/noname.html

With something so important, it's essential to test regularly whichever supplement you're using to make sure you're not low, or have some false sense of security regarding how much you're taking daily. A previous poster said her test revealed her CoQ10 was actually high, so there's another reason we need to regularly test. |

I used one a day of Puritan's Pride Q-Sorb 400mg form for 6 months for my migraine. I didn't see any effect so I discontinued.
It is widely discussed that Q-gel form or Ubiquinol form is more potent but it lacks information, if this active form is REALLY absorbed. I am in my mid-30s and I believe I do not have any enzyme insufficiency that will not convert CoQ10 to Ubiquinol in the body. (P.S. - Since I am new to this forum, I am not allowed to link anything so sorry can't offer link) |

Doctor's Best & Source Naturals (both coq10/bioperine) have been highly rated by customers.
