Default B12 blood test

I am B12 deficient. diagnosed in May. In Nov. my numbers were up to 505. I have started taking 5000 mcg of methyl B12 in dissolving tablets in hopes of absorbing more.

My question is, when I go to have my numbers checked again, should I not take the supplement prior to being tested? I worry that I may get a false number. If so, how long should I stop taking them prior to getting the test done?

Thanks!
Stephanie
