Most recommendations for taking vitamins is to take them with food. That is how we get them after all, from food (ideally).

Exception is B12 oral...which is very trickey to get absorbed and should be taken on an empty stomach, for best results.

If you see your urine turn yellow/light green soon after taking, that means you absorbed the B complex. They always color the urine some.
