I am assuming this is normal. I was diagnosed only about a month ago and started taking 1000 mcg a day and have had 2 shots. I don't beleive my dr is treating me properly and I have an appointment with a hemotologist on Monday to get more information and better treatment and maybe more tests. But in the mean time, I wanted to as others who have gone through the treatments.
Asking if this is all normal... guess I am second guessing myself because my stupid dr told me that shaking isn't part of a B12 def and that I should see a therapist!!!
So I am still having good days and bad days. I had a shot on Thursday and all weekend I was great. No symptoms. But then yesterday on the way to work I started feeling weak and light headed and foggy. I had already taken my 1000 mcg of b12 prior to feeling this way. Same thing today, but not AS bad. I have a feeling I am not taking enough B12 daily but wanted to wait to talk to the Hemotologist before doing anything else.
My b12 was 185 last month... just so you have an idea of how low it is.
so does this sound normal? I do feel better since I've been taking the b12 but I guess I'm expecting faster results. I was shaking every day but now it's only once in a while. I hate my dr for making me feel this way! I really wish dr's would listen more and learn more about the conditions of their patients.
