Default Exercise logs

I thought this might be a good incentive- to log our exercise times and levels or something like that??

Today I did warm ups and laundry{part of the warm up.}

turned the radio on to my favorite country station and then did some slow smooth movements kind of like a blend of ti chi/yoga/swaying /stretching but faster to the music

then did some twisting/twirls, dancing, stepping, ski type moves, hip moves all to the music - i alternated the upper body and lower body semi muscle work - so i think i covered most of everything-
got the heart rate up for 15 mins
then slowed it all down to cool down and did another load of laundry.

So I just hope I didn't get too carried away on my first planned session LOL
i'll find out later I guess.

anybody ready to add theirs?

Hi Jo~
I would, but mine's boring! Yours sounds so sexy and cool or something!! Are you a belly dancer?? Jeesh, all I do is walk......... I do crank the tunes so I can walk to my solid gold oldies though! I can't walk without them blastin'! I kinda be bop along, getting a little hip action in once in a while, and I have my lipstick on, so I'm a BABE---Hey, maybe my walk ISN'T too boring......hehehe

Well, I'm doing laundry too, does that count? THAT I know is boring!

Good idea for a thread Jo!! I'd like to hear too what others do for exercise, that is if they'd like to share. Yours sounded so fun!!
Hugs,
Jan

no not a belly dancer -though they do have well muscled tummies - i've heard anyway- cept mines not muscle LOL.

I just mix it up to vary the moves and go with the beat of the music.

I'm thinking I'll get one of those steps for aerobic step work instead of a elliptical - more portable and cheaper!!
they say stepping up and down is very good because lifting of the body weight.
Plus it is a good sized step stool - most have some minor height adjustments.

well so much for my "regular " plan!!
I must have over did the arm swinging LOL-

sore and stiff arms and shoulders today or I just slept wrong, plus i read for a couple hours last evening. { holding the book does a number on my arms too - even with a pillow to help prop it up}

ah well next week I will be gentler and change it to 2 - 10 minute sessions morning and evening. and see how that works for me.
