wow! 80
good for you for working in your flower beds...I worked on one of mine a few weeks back....exhausting, and daunting what I need to be doing to clean them up.
bizi who could not get out of bed today.....

Alffe 04-01-2010 11:55 AM

Lunch: 1 slice meatloaf, two sessame crackers spread w/cheese, 1/2 avacado, and a cup of chicken bouillion

Going out to work in the yard.

bizi 04-01-2010 12:06 PM

where do you get your sessmee crackers? what brand?

Alffe 04-01-2010 03:57 PM

they are Ry Krisp and the Sesame flavor tastes a lot better than the regular ones. They have some carbs but great fiber so we each have 2 which is the serving size.

Exhausted from working in the yard! Is it bed time yet?

I had rye crisps with humus tonight for dinner.:)
chicken, asparagus, strawberries, raspberries and wild blueberries.
Hope you are not too sore tomorrow.
We took a half an hour walk after dinner, now sipping on my beer!

I'm going to try your Miracle Fat Burning Soup recipe..it sounds delicious!

Kitty 04-02-2010 08:31 AM

Can I join in? :) I'm not calorie counting but I am changing the way I eat....and what I eat. Since last Friday I have lost 6 pounds!!

No Cokes (or any carbonated drinks), just water, no sugar, more fruits and whole grains, less processed food, more protein, less fat. I feel so much better....it's amazing.

Oh, and the one thing I think has made the biggest difference is the Activia I am eating everyday for breakfast. That stuff's amazing!

Good luck with your dieting everybody! :)

Hi Kitty! Congrats on that weight loss! I've never tried Ativia but have seen all the ads. I wonder if it's high in carbs?

That recipe is stickied up above in bizi's thread...on the last page.

hi kity welcome! Great about the weight loss!
please join in...I too am trying to avoid processed foods.( I have been drinking an atkins protein drink )
I had my first glass of non fat organic milk. 12 oz
I added alot berries and whirled it in the blender.
very tasty but too much fluid to drink....I tried the milk by itself and I like it. so will save those berries for later.
I have added v8 juice to a large 50 oz bottle of water fo the flavor...I don't like drinking plain water...I will sip on this thru out the day...see how that goes.( I had been using this artificial sweetener protein water). I eat out every day at subway and pile on the veggies and use brown mustard instead of the mayo.

I have a head of cabbage that I have been staring at...hmmmm.
