Hi Fancylady!!! I have not had to work all that hard at it. Since going on Metformin it has helped a bit and I have also cut back on my effexor....the treadmill has had a hand in it and on some days I manage to stay away from the carbs and just have fruit veg and proteins and it helps urge another pound or two off! I really should try to put even a little more effort into it as it is bathing suit and shorts season and I would not be caught in either!!! Hope you are doing well! Dorrie

Default I'm stuck

Dorrie and Shelly - WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!! It is really hard work sometimes but worth every pound. Here's a hug -

As some of you know, I've been on Weight Watchers (internet) since mid-January. It has come off slow but I am down 23 lbs. But I can't seem to move from that spot.

I'm in Physical Therapy 2x a week for my Peripheral Neuropathy. My feet are in constant pain so excercising like walking or running is out. Just the things they are doing with me to improve balance hurt like h*ll.

So, any suggestions? I wanted to hit 30 by August 11th for my step-daughters wedding but it looks like I'll have to settle for 25.

Love,
Nancy-H

Nancy, I know WW is good, but I find it easier to lose weight when on The South Beach type plan. I can't exercise either due to feet, back, knees, etc. Low carb works, when I do it. Trouble is...I am eating out of control big time again and don't or wont stop! We will cheer you on, so that you can lose for the wedding. I just KNOW you're gonna do it.

Cool

that is how I lost my weight as well, following a south beach diet, using high fiber foods, natures own double fiber bread and low carb high fiber tortillas....as my bread sources....I did not really exercise to lose my weight.
The last few pounds I lost I was counting carbs and counting calories too.
I would try to stay below 1500 calories and stay below 100 carbs...they don't tell you this but If you stay below 100 carbs you will lose weight...it jsut takes longer.
Most people eat 300 grams of carbs aday.
keep us posted!
Hang in there!

Default Thanks ladies

Froggie and Bizi,

Thanks for the input and, come to think of it, I stopped tracking what I eat like I did before. (WW has the program for doing it online.) So I will do that again plus watch my calories and carbs. I have 2 weeks before vacation so wish me luck!

Nancy
