Default Thoughts on vitamins

I'm getting ready to look into vitamins, and they are on sale so I'm really interested.

But I can't handle the ones like multi vitamin that are over the counter that
are chalky taste, and I need to find something that works.

SO can you help me. I am taking a calcium and magnisium together, but
its making me gag I need to see if there is something that wont. Any clues

And anything else I need to take.

Donna

Hi Dmom.

I'm sure Mrs D will have some great suggestions for you.

I like using Viactiv multi-vitamin flavor glides (Berry Breeze). It really feels like it glides down your throat and has a nice berry flavor. Viactive also has chewable vitamins - I haven't tried those so no opinion on how they taste.

i use a good multivit from walgreens....Super Aytinal. it's got all the vits and minerals and the B's in it. i think it swallows well. i showed it to my dr and she approved it.

i take my calcium with vit D. helps the absorption.
the Mag is in the multivit.

check with your dr or your pharmacist. they can really help you. especially the pharmacist.

I love my New Chaper Organics. No chalky taste. Its not made from synthetic vitamins but rather whole food.

You can get it from I herb

I do the every woman which is a multi-vitamin and the b complex as well.

maybe try capsules or gel types for easy swallowing.
Or a good tasting liquid vitamin or a powder you can dissolve in water??

Many brands have a outline of the tablet size on the package - but sometimes they aren't exactly a match.
