I suffer from OCD and do take a Nitrate-Oxide supplement for workouts. Anyone in similar situation as me? Does it effect your OCD in anyway?
Which medication(s) and workout supplements are you on? |

I don't have OCD...but am bipolar.
I eat a large meal (dinner 600-800 calories) before I work out at night usually 3x a week. Then come home at 10:15pm and wind down then go to sleep about midnight. I might eat a piece of cheese or drink some milk if I am hungry before bed. I take vitamins in the morning, multi and extra calcium and fish oil cap. then take my night meds at 11pm with some more calcium. bizi

I don't know if I am Bipolar or not. Its better to eat 5-6 small meals to keep the fast metabolism. Eating large meals can make you tired and sleepy too depending on what you eat.

what do you eat before or after a work out?
I find that my big dinner gives me energy to have a good work out. half an hour of weights and 40 minutes of cardio. bizi

Well, just don't got feeling hungry before workout. I take White Flood pre-working supplement 30 mins before workout. I don't eat lunches/dinner. I eat 5-6 small meals day.

I have heard that is better to eat smaller meals through out the day to keep your blood sugar from having too many highs or lows.
My weight numbers are good but still have alot of flab, need to burn fat and build muscle. bizi

well I am not sure what I am going after....
I have about 21% body fat which is a good number for awoman but bad for a man I guess. I do reverse sit ups by raising my hips in a roll up keeping my back safe, I do 100 of these which about kill me. and before that I do a "plank" stance where I am resting on my elbows and hold a straight leg push up(hold for 60 seconds)...I guess it is a yoga movement. It strengthens my core muscles. I am starting to see definition of my abs. I just started doing leg presses for the first time this week. I press 100 pounds for 30 times tonight. that is the only leg exercise that I am doing. I have focused on my upper body since I started working out in march. I had a right shoulder injury and had 2 months of PT that is why I joined the gym to improve my shoulder, it is stable now. I waas going faithfully 3 times a week, since it started getting colder I have been going 2x a week which is terrible!!
