Great day today!
thankful for my job. I only saw 3 clients.
I started off the day with a blueberry spinach smoothie and 2 cups of coffee with half and half.
Had lunch with the gang at the health food store... ate grilled shrimp fahitas ( with out the carbs), quinoa tabouli, sauteed kale with peppers and onions and fresh boiled beets. I love their food!
Dinner: I cooked teryaki ginger salmon in an 450 oven baked for 12 minutes and then I cooked fresh sliced beets with a coating of grapeseed oil spray. and cooked them about 35 minutes on that high heat.
Both were delicious!

I played the alcohol game in my head this afternoon., getting home around 4pm. I could walk down the street to brewskis for a couple of ciders but then that would mean not going to the gym.
Would I drink or would I go to the gym?
I don't drink and drive any more....so that doesn't fit into the equation.
I had forgotten that hubby had rehearsal tonight for the halloween concert tomorrow.
And I looked at my schedule I have most of the day off tomorrow. I will do paper work that I am much behind in!
So in my head I thought that I could go to the gym and then drink....
I knew that I needed as much time as I could muster to walk as far as I could walk on the tred mill.
So that did not leave me any time to go buy any ciders before the walk. And I could not make myself go to the gas station afterward to buy a beer. So I went with out.
I was happy with my walk. I walked a total of 10 miles on the tred mill. 2 hours and 52 minutes.
I took 2, 30 second breaks to tie my shoe and stretch my back.
That was all I could walk. I was done!
My feet were sore....how am I ever going to be able to walk a mini marathon,
which is 12.5 miles ( I think) or even a full marathon.
It is a real time commitment.
I should try jogging,
I tried once a while ago and it hurt, compressed my neck, maybe I will try again. I don't like to sweat though.....
So it was a great day.

Thanksgiving was nice the 2 boys were enthralled with ipads, there was some obnoxious behavior for a bit at the dinner table but overall much better than I originally thought.
thankful for my friends and family.
WEnt on a hike today an anti black friday hike. a bit over 3 miles it took an hour and a half....we went up then went down so it was a good work out.
no sweating involved.
But I got cold coming home on the ride and my RAynauds flared up all 10 fingers were white.
sigh
came home and had baked stuffed catfish and left over spinach mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce and pecan chew for desert.
YUM!

149 this morning.
sigh
could be worse .
have been eating freely and drinking as well.holidays are here and so are gifts of cookies and brownies and chocolates that I can't resist!
60 degrees for our walk around the neighborhood. It was nice but my hands got cold but my raynauds did not flare up surprisingly.
I have a busy day for tomorrow. see one client the out for lunch as usual with hubby to chris's por boys for gumbo. the hair appointment for retouch of color and a gloss and hair cut if time permits then another client. then art walk with friends, have not been downtown if a while. then dinner somewhere. We ate left overs tonight for dinner then went to the pub down the street for drinks and french fries. yum. came home and watched an episode of downton abbey and heading to bed it is midnight.

thank you carol!
I hope you had a lovely christmas too. I just got home from a colonoscopy and weighed over 160 pounds, most I have weighed in years.
This is shocking to me.
I must start by throwing out all of the extra candies and alcohol that I have.
I drank too much over the holidays and I am sure it contributed to this weight gain.

may 2015 bring you happiness and some surprises too.

Bizi,

Keeping in mind "one day at a time" may help you get rid of some of the extra trouble makers. Not easy; wish you luck at accomplishing throwing them out.
