I wonder how much a tummy tuck would cost?
I would like to have my eye lids done they are so droopy. WE ended up having asparagus last night instead of the strawberrries. hubby cooked them at our friends house they were good!

Someone I know had skin removal surgery on her abdomen as she recently lost 120 lbs after having 3 kids. The cost was approx $9,000 but BC Medical paid for half of it. Since she had budgeted for the whole amount before she found out half was covered, she decided to have additional surgery and went up a cup size.

In BC, if droopy eyelids begin to cause problems, corrective surgery is fully covered. If it's for cosmetic reason only, I think it's around $3,000 but that figure comes from awhile back when a friend had it done. Talk about black eyes!

Ouch, that's harsh. We pay $130.50 per month in total for two of us. The premiums are based on a sliding scale if you have a lower income. It's free for those on social assistance or below the poverty level.

If you're admitted to the hospital, you don't pay for anything including the hospital stay.

Until march 1st we don't have a deductible and have small copays. reduced costs for medications etc. we pay about 450$ monthly right now.
as of march 1st the premium will go down to $185. so that is good, just hope that we don't get sick. He is a state groups plan, a professor at the university here in louisiana, and I am an RN self employed. so we pay full price for our coverage. in the past year we have used our insurance to pay for physical therapy hubbys hip(he broke it 3 years ago), social worker therapy for me twice a month. walk in clinic visits for various ills. I guess just normal stuff. now all of that will be out of pocket towards the deductible.

yes hubby goes back to school today. I think he is much better. He insisted he eat a cilantro chicken left overs yesterday for dinner. had alot of onions and green peppers and even some cayene peper. so not the smartest choice at all. But he seemed to do fine, my stomach was hurting after all of that so I took some mylanta then it got better so I went to the gym last night 8;30-10pm
walked 90 minutes again 5.25 miles at 3.5 mph. down to 150.5 this morning so am happy about that.

Well I made it 30 days AF and tonight I did cardio for 105 minutes 6.15 miles @3.5pmh
We went to art walk tonight and much free wine was there, i resisted but could not resist on some of the treats.... I honestly did not go over board.
Started looking at the smart recovery handbook that just arrived today.
Am excited about it.
I am using the gym to help feel more productive with my time, doing something good for myself and something to do an activity to get me off the computer that is what I did tonight. I just got home a while ago. Love the hours at planet fitness!
I am hoping that Smart recovery will help me change my behaviors, to live a healthier life and get off this computer and live a more creative life.
It takes effort and persistence but I think I am ready.

weighed 149 this morning!
It took 10 weeks to get back to this number after eating and drinking freely over the holidays.

Started off the day with organic freshly ground coffee, heavenly. ( it is actually cheaper than the regular coffee that I was drinking but much fewer pesticides)
Went to breakfast had 3 scrambled eggs with spinach and a side of black bean salsa on top of the eggs, with a side of brocolli. Delicious! Came home and had an organic very ripe pear.
very juicy. That makes 3 veggies and fruit for breakfast! I am trying to eat better.
Made another pot of coffee, I use pasture raised half and half cream and stevia to sweeten my cofffee.
Plan is to do paper work, I am always behind, think I will use the timer again. Hope to scrub the kitchen floor too. It is a rainy gloomy day perfect for staying in and getting some things done around the house and office.
