After lunch ironing took longer than anticipated soooooo
I decided to go to the gym tomorrow and am going to the car show now. Jeff encouraged me to go and buy our friend a t shirt and the show is only open today. I will be back by 5;45 to start cooking dinner for susan.

Just got back from the car show which was fun! sent pictures to our friend Dan in Indiana...purchased a t-shirt for him as well as a dvd and a couple of stickers...these will be his christmas presents.... one person done!

Bizi, that all sounds pretty good to me .

Great day so far.
got up early then had 2 cups of coffee. read the newspaper got dressed went to breakfast...had 3 scrambled eggs with spinach and a side of black bean salsa to top off the eggs. Delicious this morning!
I finally went to the gym(planet fitness) and walked on the tred mill for 65 minutes averaging 3.5 mph for a total of 3.61 miles. Afterward, they let me use their hydo massage bed. It was great!
beautiful weather sunny and 70's. Hubby is still working on halloween decorations, grave yard went in yesterday....26 tombstones lol
We are getting ready to go to the symphony, I think Vivaldi.

I am so happy to hear your new friendship is working out so well! You both have so much in common with one another as nurses, etc.

Hi Bizi, wrote you a PM.

Went to bed around 11pm and I did not have the restless legs at all last night....I slept well until 5 am when I woke up and could not get comfortable and then just got up.
My neck still bothers me but not as bad as yesterday.
Am still going in this morning at 10:45.
I worry about how much this will cost me as we have a high deductible....
So I will be paying out of pocket.
sigh....

I have this chimichurri (think garlic and pasley) hemp tofu to use for dinner tonight.
I found a recipe for it, pumpkin seeds and squash.
Sounds good.
A vegetarian dish that hubby knows nothing about.
He will be surprised.
Am hoping we enjoy it so I can cook with it again.
We should be eating more vegetarian dishes to save money and it is better health wise too.

We are going to a halloween attraction tonight the fright trail, here locally. It is supposed to rain all weekend. We were going Sunday to baton rouge to see the big attraction "the 13th gate". We have gone for many years now...
We will either bring umbrellas or go later on in the week.
Tomorrow we will elect a new governor along with 7 other spots open. Hopefully there will be a big turnout...never know the rain may keep people away. __________________

138.5 this morning. yeah!

I think my neck is better today and I slept in today until 945 and got good sleep!.
Just did my stretching exercises, supposed to do them 5 times a day.
He wants me to use the ice pack that he sold me...I don't like cold so probably will not use that unless things don't approve. He never mentioned taking anything for pain like advil etc. or for the anti inflamatory properties.
I already take tumeric.
I guess I should call on monday. I am to see him next week again.

Today we vote on 16 different positions....
Geesh and there will be run offs later next month. sigh

Jeff is gathering up house hold/hazardous waste. They accept it today until 12 noon.

The back patio is filthy so I should clean that today as I have nothing planned to do.

I try to eat as healthy as possible. I lose weight when I don't drink alcohol and when I follow a lowish carb diet, mostly meat and veggies, avocado, berries or an apple at night to snack on. in addition to nuts and seeds.
At night, I have been drinking a glass of milk with the trazadone to sleep as it was irritating my stomach...like it says on the bottle! I can use the extra calcium and I don't wake up so hungry.

I went off to read about chimi churri and got sidetracked, so I didn't come back to comment. This even makes tofu sound good!

I thoroughly enjoy reading about your meals and recipes, they are quite different in the main to what I eat.

It is good that your neck has eased and you slept well. The continuing weight loss and AF days are great.
