Thumbs up What fun, all of it!

Hi Bizi,

Sorry you were sore after the run, yet I am sure it was worth it!

You are quite skilled at managing your life. Congratulations!
It's so nice you and Jeff enjoy one another so much!

Sounds like all is going well in life, Bizi!

Rock On!

Hi bizi!

Thank you! I DO have a lot of love in my life, for which I am very grateful!

No relationship is "perfect" or totally "ideal." As youngsters or as teens, we may have "idealized" relationships, especially romantic relationships.

In reality, we all have short-comings, we all have quirks, we all have imperfections and no relationship is "perfect."

What matters is if we love one another, care deeply, are capable of showing affection, are capable of being present for one another, are capable of showing mutual support, are capable of working through any challenges which arise, are capable of practicing patience and flexibility, are capable of forgiving one another, are devoted to seeing those we love through whatever comes up in this challenging life.

It's wonderful when we find life partners with these capacities and we also share common interests. A special "spark" can be helpful, yet so often that "spark" grows, is nourished by, our abilities to steadily demonstrate the level of our love, concern, devotion.

The healthier, the more balanced, we each become, the more we have to offer others.

I am also so glad you and Jeff have one another to love, bizi!

Red face

I must get in the shower today...
geesh
it has been a week and my hair is awful!
I don't have a client this morning so have plenty of time to just get in there.....
It is such a no brainer for most people....

it is chilly in the house. 50 outside 66 in here....burr.
a hot shower sounds good but I always run out of hot water when I do get in there...maybe that disappointment is what keeps me away.
I would like one of those hot water on demand boxes....endless hot water!
They are expensive....

That will feel good on my back(another reason to just get in there....... taking advil and tumeric after lunch with my other meds.

Hi bizi,

I could not wait to take a warm shower today!
I had slept on my shoulder in an odd position and had lots of discomfort.
The shower helped that and helped me to feel better, overall.

The direct-line heaters you speak of are great. I don't have one, yet have friends who do.

Is it possible to turn up the temperature of the hot water heater so it goes further? This can also often be done when the water is heated by the furnace, rather than a separate water heater.

I hope you are warm and content.

sorry about your shoulder, ouch!

Well I took a shower! and did not run out of hot water because I put the water pressure on low and conserved my hot water.
now I am all clean and ready to start my day.

Happiness is visiting my 100 year old client and painting her toe nails bright red, like usual!

137.5 this morning. I keep fluctuating these past couple of weeks. was 141 recently...
2 weeks ago I was 137. I know that I should not weigh daily but I would be really depressed if I put on 4 pounds in a week! It just must be water weight that keeps fluctuating, my diet has not changed although I did have extra snackies last night at wine tasting thing at whole foods. yummy cheeses and I had a good coffee milk stout too.
It is all good. my clothes fit better so am happy about that.
I would like to fit into some pants that are still too small.
I don't want to gain weight over the holidays, thanksgiving, christmas and new years, which is my birthday. Will spend it with my twin sister in Indiana.
One of her friends husband turns 50 so there will be a big bash at their house with in walking distance of sis's house so all can drink and be merry!
We spent $700 renting a car to go back home for 2 weeks...expensive!
We did not want to put the extra miles on our cars and I can't drive jeffs car it is a 6 speed and I could not put it into 6th gear when I drove it last time. and My car is too small for him(he is 6'5"), his knees hit the dash board the entire trip when we took my honda fit a year ago.. I hope we get another fuel efficient car. Last time it was a ford focus and we got 40 mpg. This year I think it will be a toyota corolla, not sure.
Slept great last night. All traces of hypomania are gone....sigh
Getting behind in my charting again....need to get on that!
I work tomorrow which is fine, love my job!
looking at a 3rd cup of coffee...had better think about starting my day.
thank you for reading.

Cool Smirk

Hi bizi,

I'm sure it is water weight causing your fluctuations, pleased for you that your clothes fit well. I have had to buy all new pairs of trousers twice as I have lost 8 inches off my waist.

You are sensible to hire a car if neither you nor Jeff can cope in each other's car. You do have a loooong Holiday Season over there, November to January!

Glad you slept well and the hypomania did not take hold.

Dave.
