Great day today!
thankful for my job. I only saw 3 clients.
I started off the day with a blueberry spinach smoothie and 2 cups of coffee with half and half.
Had lunch with the gang at the health food store... ate grilled shrimp fahitas ( with out the carbs), quinoa tabouli, sauteed kale with peppers and onions and fresh boiled beets. I love their food!
Dinner: I cooked teryaki ginger salmon in an 450 oven baked for 12 minutes and then I cooked fresh sliced beets with a coating of grapeseed oil spray. and cooked them about 35 minutes on that high heat.
Both were delicious!

I played the alcohol game in my head this afternoon., getting home around 4pm. I could walk down the street to brewskis for a couple of ciders but then that would mean not going to the gym.
Would I drink or would I go to the gym?
I don't drink and drive any more....so that doesn't fit into the equation.
I had forgotten that hubby had rehearsal tonight for the halloween concert tomorrow.
And I looked at my schedule I have most of the day off tomorrow. I will do paper work that I am much behind in!
So in my head I thought that I could go to the gym and then drink....
I knew that I needed as much time as I could muster to walk as far as I could walk on the tred mill.
So that did not leave me any time to go buy any ciders before the walk. And I could not make myself go to the gas station afterward to buy a beer. So I went with out.
I was happy with my walk. I walked a total of 10 miles on the tred mill. 2 hours and 52 minutes.
I took 2, 30 second breaks to tie my shoe and stretch my back.
That was all I could walk. I was done!
My feet were sore....how am I ever going to be able to walk a mini marathon,
which is 12.5 miles ( I think) or even a full marathon.
It is a real time commitment.
I should try jogging,
I tried once a while ago and it hurt, compressed my neck, maybe I will try again. I don't like to sweat though.....
So it was a great day.
