Default Why Adequate Protein May Aid Weight Loss

"The group found that protein feeding of rats markedly increased the activity of genes involved in glucose production in the animals' small intestine. Those activities led to glucose synthesis and release into the portal vein--the vessel that conducts blood from digestive and other organs to the liver--a phenomenon lasting after the assimilation of glucose from the diet." Please note this last statement - "a phenomenon lasting after the assimilation of glucose from the diet.":

Default Protein Triggers Weight Loss Hormone

You're welcome bizi,

I wouldn't go overboard in consuming protein, but would make sure to have adequate protein and fat, and just enough carbs for my level of activity.

Ha Billie, "she who remembers nothing, has nothing to forget." Sorry I just felt silly and had to make my own saying. I am trying so very hard to get my funny-bone back.
Sure hope you have a good time today with your cousin, sorry can't remember where you said you were going. Hugs, Froggie
