Default Saturday Roll Call

Hi all,

I've lost about 6 pounds since hanging out with my friend Doug this past month. It's not much but the times that were not stressful I did not feel the need to eat much. He went to the emergency room last Tuesday and got out so much better. He's doing so great that I am on top of the world again. How is everyone else doing?

Default Hello ladies!

Befuddled - 6 pounds is absolutely wonderful. Keep it up. I am so glad that your friend is doing better.

Dorrie - I love "me" time as well. Sometimes when I find myself alone, I have to sit for a minute and decide what I'd like to do! I mean, I don't know what to do because I rarely find myself alone. Hope you relaxed!

Hope everyone is having a nice week-end.

Nancy

Hi Curious....it was not me who lost those 6 pounds, it was Bufuddled!!! I have lost 12 then gained 2 for a total of 10 pounds lost. It is taking forever. The doc says when my sugars are more in control I should start melting it off! The meds should help me lose but not much! My body loves to hang on to the extra weight. I really do eat fairly well but I do not eat at regularly schedualed times...my mom, another diabetic says if I can get that down pat it will help. Maybe now that I am not working I will get a grip on it. I did not get a proper lunch where I worked. Now I can take the time to prepare, sit and enjoy my meals. Life was so fast paced....it will be so nice to SLOW down!!!

Hi, I'm new to posting in here. But I've been working on losing weight.

I've got a pesky husband that thinks he knows what is wrong with me.
I'm fat is what he says. But that has nothing to do with why I'm trying
to lose weight. And it honestly has nothing to do with what is wrong
with me either.

So even though I'm working on my weight and I'd like to start posting
in here, don't be surprised at times if I vent about my husband being
a idiot.

See I have some health issues that have been springing up for the last
year really strongly, and they seem to be getting more in the way.
And all the sudden for no real known reason my weight climbed.

Its not the foods I was eating, becuase it didn't change. So I'm kind of
lost. I have no real clue if I've lost anything yet, but I've been dieting
by watching my intake and changing my diet for about 2 to 3 weeks now.

I'm eating healthy foods, trying to stay away from the fatty foods, and the
things not good for me. I eat vegetables, fruits, weight watchers breads,
lean meats, some bran cereals, 100 calorie snacks, fruit juices, and I'm still
addicted to diet coke, but I'm trying hard to stop. I'm drinking lots of
water daily. Trying to drink 32 oz's or more a day.

I also eat the frozen food meals, that are the right ones, or the other things
that I can get preprepared, and I drink soy milk or 2 %, I'm having trouble
drinking the white type soy, so its really hard.
