Okay we got a new refrigerator, but still have to work on new food.
It took all night to get the thing into the house. But one step at a time. So now I get to listen to him talk about cleaning the kitchen and he still has to move things around so I can get into the room. Its a big mess. But that is okay. I at least have a chance to get food and into there now. Donna |

I'm not at them this morning. I do need to finish cleaning so I can invite company for dinner tomorrow. I don't know whats wrong with me but I am tired all the time. Maybe its the weather. It don't look like theres no relief in sight either. I've got my meal planned and food bought.
I do hope your all ok. It seems not many are checking in these days. I took on my first job yesterday and everything went fine. I hope they are all that easy! HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE!  ______ BC

Just walked down to a neighbors garage sale....she was talking about new orleans and Hurricane Katrina and how they lost almost everything...they had an upstairs and everything up there was saved. They moved here 2 years ago right after the storms....jsut down the street and I never met them before.... very sad bizi

Hi all,
I started out with a lazy day and then got groceries and cleaned for 2 hours. I am beat already cause I didn't sleep good last night. I have a girfriend coming over tomorrow to take me out to eat for my birthday. Her birthday is at the end of August so we usually celebrate ours at the same time. Billie, what exactly do you do in your new job? How is it going? befuddled2 |

I mostly sit with the patients and be their companion. I can only do more if I can and get permission. I can do things like dishes and help with things like that. There is always someone available I can call if help is needed. I can't give meds or CPR. I have been trained to talk about death IF the conversation leads to that. I can also plant a flower or help with a memory book, if it was a woman.
Right now I have been assigned to a man. He is kind and in a wheelchair. He has a wife and when she got home she was nice to talk to too. I am watching him, while she gets groceries. They live in the country. ____ BC

We had a busy day....3 soccer games in hot hot weather. Unfortunately the boys did not make it to the finals. I got a sunburn on my neck and forearms...I think my hubby got a little too much sun. He was cranky...he is hardly ever that way. I gave him lots of water and posicles too. He is off to bed so I hope he feels better tomorrow! Hope you all had a lovely day
