Jo55, I don't have any of those places to get fresh fruit or veggies but do have some grocery stores not to far away. I do need to get some to have on hand..only thing is I don't like veggies...oh my. Frogs eat bugs ya know. LOLJut got to learn to eat carrots and brocolli with some lite salad dressing maybe. Would sure beat the junk food.

Thanks Nancy for you very nice reply. I sure have slipped and lost my diet way. I just can't quit eating all this food. I will have a battle going and will sure have to take it slow and easy. I have had some body battles to fight and still fighting...but doing better. I can't leave here because I am to very fond of yall! Thanks my friend

Wow Billie that is great. when you get going ypu really do a good job. Proud of ya Sis!

one thing that has really helped me..and heck the whole family, is no unhealthy snacks in the house. none. zip. zilch. we make them treats. after grocery shopping they can pick one. either a candy..like m&ms..regular size bag or a small bag of chips...an ice cream cone...

i do bake. alot. but i have modified recipes. we rarely eat bread.

an easy good pizza...make them on tortilla's.( the flavored tortill'as are wonderful. spaghetti sauce...load up with leftover veggies..or fresh...like tomatoes..spinich...meat if you like(cooked)sprinkle with cheese...low fat...lol..and bake. takes about 8-10 minutes. just enough time to get out plates...a drink..and there is dinner or lunch.

you can do it gaye!!!
I have a real bad pizza habit. I try to cut them inhalf and not eat the whole thing. But when you say tortilla's do you mean the thin flour ones you make burritos with? I would love other ideas too...

there are even low carb tortillas with high fiber that are very filling...I even make peanut butter rolls out of them and use them instead of bread at lunch time, you could make wraps out of them as well. You can make quick things too...that is important to have things handy.

yep monica. burrito and soft taco tortilla's. makes a nice thin crust pizza. my kids can make then too. i like to get out all the toppings and let everyone make their own. sure cuts down on my work and they get just waht they want.

yum bizi. i love roll ups. using pita bread helps cut the carbs too. hehe..i just have to make sure i don't over stuff them.

i found another drink mix at walmart. it was only 10c more than the store brand.

it's called FULFILL.
sugar free. the flavor i bought is kiwi strawberry.
sodium 35 mg
carbs 0
protien 0
vit c 10%
vit e 10 %
niacin 25%
b6 25%
b12 10%
pantothenic acid 25%

no added colors either.

i like the ease of those little tubs.

Heart Hi Gaye

Well Gaye, I think you are wonderful just the way you are. You have got the biggest HEART and a caring spirit. I don't loose either, except what I just turn around and put right back on. Maybe we aren't suppose to loose.
